Freeze Watch issued April 6 at 2:15PM CDT until April 8 at 9:00AM CDT by NWS Lincoln IL
* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 25 possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, southeast, and west
central Illinois.
* WHEN...From overnight Monday night through mid Tuesday morning.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill sensitive
vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A hard freeze with sub-freezing temperatures
below 28 is likely (70 to 90% chance).
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold, by covering
them with a blanket or taking them inside.
