from N. 5th Street to North Lane in Stroudsburg, PA 18360
BOIL ADVISORY EFFECTIVE DATE: 04/01/2025
The Boil Advisory issued to customers along both sides of N. 5th Street from 1808 N. 5th Street to 1521 N. 5th Street including all residences on Hawthorne Terrace and Stokes Mill Road from N. 5th Street to North Lane Road in Stroudsburg, PA has been lifted as of Friday, April 4, 2025.
You no longer need to boil your water.
On Tuesday, April 1, 2025, the Boil Advisory was issued due to a loss of positive water pressure from the new 8" water main tie-in. As a result, there was an increased chance that the water may contain disease-causing organisms. Water samples were taken and tested for Total Coliform and E-Coli. All water samples taken have passed the lab testing.
