Special Weather Statement issued April 4 at 3:25AM EDT by NWS State College PA
At 325 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Penn National Race Course to Mount Wolf to York
Airport. Movement was east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
York Haven, Harrisburg International Airport, Cornwall, Buck, York
Airport, Valley View, Lawn, Stonybrook-Wilshire, Red Lion,
Millersville University, Reinholds, Holtwood, Loganville,
Elizabethtown College, New Holland, Avon Heights, East York, Blue
Ball, Manheim, and Rothsville.
