April 3, 2025 - 2:49 P.M. Update on Reading City Active Shooter Incident.
As of this time all LOCK DOWNS have been lifted in the various areas that were of concern. Numerous Police Departments, Berks County Sheriffs Department and PA State Police conducted search's of area's looking for the suspect who fired a firearm at a incident in Kenhorst Borough and is under investigation by the Reading City Police Department and will be handling additional news media releases concerning this incident.
We appreciate the cooperation of citizens during this event.
