Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued April 3 at 4:53AM EDT until April 3 at 5:30AM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 453 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
over White Oak to near Hundred, or along a line from near McKeesport
to 10 miles northwest of Mannington, moving east at 60 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Morgantown, Fairmont, Uniontown, Connellsville, Waynesburg,
Westover, Kingwood, Mannington, Star City, Terra Alta, Rowlesburg,
Monessen, California, Donora, Mount Pleasant, Scottdale,
Charleroi, Masontown, Pleasant Valley and Youngwood.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds.
Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek
shelter immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a
well-built structure.
