Special Weather Statement issued April 2 at 1:49PM EDT by NWS Cleveland OH
At 149 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported strong thunderstorms
along a line extending from near North Kingsville to near Mentor.
Movement was east at 85 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Painesville, Ashtabula, Conneaut, Fairport Harbor,
Geneva-On-The-Lake, Mentor, Geneva, Madison, Girard, North
Kingsville, Perry, Albion, Linesville, Harmonsburg, Pymatuning North,
Pymatuning Central, Kirtland, Lake City, Austinburg, and Kingsville.
