Borough of Edinboro Summer 2025 Project Schedule
The following projects will occur this summer. Dates are tentative, and some projects are weather-dependent. Please share with your neighbors!
Annual Paving
(TBD June through August; work will only take about 2 weeks once underway)
Harrison Drive
6N Sidewalk Project
(April through September)
Install a new sidewalk along the south side of Route 6N east, from where the sidewalk currently ends until the main University entrance (past the Post Office). This includes the construction of a new pedestrian bridge alongside the automotive bridge near the Post Office.
6N & 99 PennDOT Paving
(TBD; potentially in the August-October range)
PennDOT will be paving Rt. 6N from I-79 to Rt. 99, as well as Rt. 99 from Old State Road to Rt. 6N.
Nature’s Outlet Improvements
(April through May)
Year 2 of 2 for improvements to Nature’s Outlet Park: includes installation of additional sidewalk, lighting, and a gazebo with electricity.
Wastewater Department
(Throughout the year)
Various sewer line and manhole work in the Nordmere, Gibson, Terrace, Willow, Harrison and Hickory areas, with other areas of the Borough possible as well.
Sherrod Hill Water Tower Project
(May through August)
Work will be performed on the water tower to improve operations.
Water Service Line Inventory
(May through October)
Utility customers who received a letter about their water service line may be contacted by the Water Department to help confirm the material of the water service line from the road to the water meter.
Penelec Utility Lines
(TBD)
Penelec will be performing work on utility lines along Rt. 6N from I-79 to just east of Ontario Street.
