Special Weather Statement issued April 1 at 8:28PM EDT by NWS Melbourne FL

At 828 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Deltona, moving north at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Heathrow, Pine Lakes, Osteen, DeLand Highlands, and Orange City.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or hard-topped vehicle. Remember, when
thunder roars, go indoors!
