Description
On Thursday, March 27, Rep. Merski, Borough officials, and several members of the Morrison family gathered at Morrison Park, located at the corner of 30th and Highland, for a check presentation. The Borough has received a $60,000 grant from the PA State Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) to support the full reconstruction of the park, which will include new, safer equipment and ADA-accessible features.

The borough extends its sincere thanks to Rep. Merski for his dedication at the state level in advocating for this project—one of a handful of initiatives where he has helped secure state funding to enhance the community.

Be sure to stop by Rep. Merski’s office at 3921 Buffalo Road to express your appreciation!

Note: The borough is actively seeking additional funding to complete the project. A total of $120,000 is needed to move forward with the full reconstruction of Morrison Park.
