Special Weather Statement issued March 30 at 5:15PM EDT by NWS Melbourne FL

At 515 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Cassia to near Apopka to near Four Corners.
Movement was east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Azalea Park, Celebration, Paradise Heights, Longwood, and Blue Spring
State Park.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or hard-topped vehicle. Remember, when
thunder roars, go indoors!

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
