Description
Facchiano Construction, the successful contractor for the RT. 88/Brownsville Road Intersection project, is scheduled to begin construction on the southbound right lane of Rt. 88, on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, weather permitting. The scope of work includes widening the lane, installing new traffic signals, sidewalks, a parking area, and other enhancements. Lane closures will be Limited.
The work will run concurrently with the upgrade to Peach Alley, which is parallel to Rt. 88. The scope of this work includes the installation of a "hammerhead" turnaround design to accommodate large vehicles utilized by the Township's Public Works Department, the volunteer fire departments, and the refuse contractor, which will enable the drivers to more safely navigate the street.
