Flood Watch issued March 28 at 2:54AM CDT until March 28 at 1:00PM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX

* WHAT...Locally heavy rainfall could cause flash flooding across
portions of the Coastal Plains. Additional rainfall amounts of 1
to 2 inches will be possible within the Flood Watch area.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
counties, De Witt, Karnes and Lavaca.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Abundant Gulf moisture combined with a slow moving storm
system will bring rounds of scattered to numerous showers and
thunderstorms.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
