Special Weather Statement issued March 26 at 8:39AM EDT by NWS State College PA
At 836 AM EDT, an area of snow showers was located along a line
extending from South Renovo to Blue Knob State Park.
Movement was southeast at 30 mph.
Locations impacted include...
Pine Grove Mills, McElhattan, Mundys Corner, Westover, Roaring
Spring, Ski Gap, Westmont, Williamsport, Houtzdale, Avis, Cassville,
Allegheny Portage Railroad National Historic Site, Salladasburg,
Boalsburg, Trough Creek State Park, Philipsburg, Driftwood, Port
Matilda, Waterville, and Ramblewood.
Visibility reductions below one mile and a quick coating of snow may
occur with these snow showers, creating localized slick spots,
especially on elevated roadways and overpasses. Be prepared for
changeable road conditions and reduce your speed.
