Red Flag Warning issued March 17 at 2:05AM EDT until March 17 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Melbourne FL

...HIGH FIRE DANGER EXPECTED ACROSS EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA TODAY...

The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect from noon today to 8 PM EDT this
evening. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.


* AFFECTED AREA... Volusia... Lake... Orange... Seminole...
Osceola... Brevard... Okeechobee... Indian River... Saint
Lucie... and Martin counties.

* WIND...West to Northwest 15 to 20 mph with gusts 25 to 30 mph.

* HUMIDITY...Minimum values of 25 to 35 percent.

* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
