Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued March 16 at 12:52PM EDT until March 16 at 1:15PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 1252 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Evans City,
or 6 miles north of Cranberry, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Butler, Homeacre-Lyndora, Shanor-Northvue, Meridian, Zelienople,
Meadowood, Oak Hills, Evans City, Nixon, Prospect, Harmony, East
Butler, Connoquenessing, West Liberty, Portersville, West Sunbury,
Hooker, Moraine State Park and Cooper's Lake Campground.

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 PM EDT for a portion of
west central Pennsylvania.
