Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued March 16 at 12:37PM EDT until March 16 at 1:15PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 1237 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Aliquippa,
moving northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Butler, Aliquippa, Beaver Falls, Monaca, Economy, Ellwood City,
Homeacre-Lyndora, New Brighton, Shanor-Northvue, Beaver, Baden,
Meridian, Zelienople, Rochester, Meadowood, Oak Hills, Industry,
Evans City, Patterson Township and Conway.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 PM EDT for portions of
west central and western Pennsylvania.
