Description
Attention residents! The following two construction projects will be beginning on Monday, March 17th.


Steuben / Linden Intersection Upgrades (partially funded by PennDOT’s Green-Light-Go grant program)

Contractor – Bruce & Merrilees

What’s being done? – New signal lights, mast arms and poles, concrete sidewalks with ADA ramps, and pedestrian signals.

What streets will be impacted? – Linden and Steuben intersection

What to look out for? – Construction workers, vehicles and occasional lane closures. Daytime work hours.

When is it expected to end? – May 31st, 2025


C-20 Storm Sewer Separation (partially funded by ALCOSAN’s GROW grant program)

Contractor – Tedesco Construction Company

What’s being done? – Installation of two new storm sewers with pipes, manholes and inlets. Restoration to any impacted streets and hardscapes due to construction.

What streets will be impacted? – Duncan Ave. (from the Steuben intersection to Maxwell St.), S. Linden Ave. (from Maxwell St. to Steuben intersection), and Steuben Street (from Duncan Ave. to W. Crafton Ave.)

What to look out for? – Construction workers, vehicles and occasional lane closures. Daytime work hours.

When is it expected to end? – By November 2025. A detailed schedule is still to be determined.

*Note: Initial work will consist of performing ground penetrating radar, moving materials on-site, utility coordination, and saw cutting. Actual excavation is expected to begin early April.


Upcoming later this year - Broadhead Storm Sewer Separation (partially funded by ALCOSAN’s GROW grant program)

Contractor – To be determined

What’s being done? – Installation of a new storm sewer with pipes, manholes and inlets. Restoration to any impacted streets and hardscapes due to construction.

What streets will be impacted? – Belvidere St., Broadhead Ave., Coulter St., N. Emily St., Parke St., Warren St., Crennel Ave., and N. Linwood Ave.

What to look out for? – Construction workers, vehicles and occasional lane closures. Work hours to be determined.

When is it expected to end? – A detailed schedule is still to be determined.

*Note: This project is expected to go out to bid in the next few weeks. Please stay tuned for more updates.
