...DANGEROUS FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS EXPECTED ON FRIDAY...

...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY EVENING THROUGH
SATURDAY EVENING FOR CENTRAL TEXAS...

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a Red Flag
Warning for very strong winds gusts up to 65 mph and very low
relative humidity values, which is in effect from 11 AM to 9 PM
CDT Friday.

A Fire Weather Watch has also been issued for strong wind gusts
and low relative humidity, which is in effect from Friday evening
through Saturday evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...Central Texas.

* TIMING...Late Friday morning through Saturday evening.

* WINDS...Southwest 20 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10 percent.

* TEMPERATURES...80 to 87 degrees.

* IMPACTS...Rapid spread of wildfires is possible due to very
strong southwesterly winds and low relative humidity values.

A Red Flag Warning means that extreme fire weather conditions are
either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong
winds, low relative humidity, and dry vegetation can contribute
to extreme fire behavior. Avoid all outside burning and welding
today. Do not toss lit cigarette butts outside. Report wild fires
to the nearest fire department or law enforcement office.

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible
Red Flag Warnings.
