Special Weather Statement issued February 28 at 9:52PM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 952 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking a line of showers
extending from over Beaver Falls to near Cambridge, moving east at
50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts 45 to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Mount Lebanon, Ross Township, Wheeling, McCandless
Township, Cranberry, Moon Township, Weirton, Steubenville, Butler,
Washington, Franklin Park, East Liverpool, Cambridge, Aliquippa,
Moundsville, Canonsburg, Beaver Falls, Martins Ferry and
Columbiana.
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
