Special Weather Statement issued February 27 at 8:54PM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 854 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking a line of showers
extending from near East Palestine to over Tiltonsville, or
extending from near East Palestine to over Clearview, moving east at
40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Mount Lebanon, Bethel Park, Ross Township, McCandless
Township, Cranberry, Moon Township, McMurray, Weirton,
Steubenville, Butler, Washington, Franklin Park, East Liverpool,
Aliquippa, Canonsburg, Beaver Falls, Martins Ferry, Columbiana and
Monaca.
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
