Cold Weather Advisory issued February 19 at 10:33AM CST until February 20 at 12:00PM CST by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX
* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 11 above.
* WHERE...De Witt, Fayette, Gonzales, Karnes, Lavaca, and Wilson
Counties.
* WHEN...Until noon CST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged
exposure.
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
