Lake Effect Snow Warning issued February 19 at 10:19AM EST until February 19 at 1:00PM EST by NWS Buffalo NY
* WHAT...Lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations 1 to 3
inches in the most persistent lake snows through early afternoon.
* WHERE...Orleans and Monroe Counties, mainly across northern
portions of the counties near the Lake Ontario shoreline.
* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.
Lake effect snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If traveling,
be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities.
