Winter Storm Warning issued February 16 at 6:50PM EST until February 17 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Cleveland OH
* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations between 2 and 5
inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE...Crawford, Northern Erie, and Southern Erie Counties.
* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4
mile due to falling and blowing snow. Plan on slippery road
conditions with slower travel likely. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Monday morning commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Steadier snow will continue into early
tonight. Winds gusting over 30 mph at times will lead to reduced
visibilities in blowing snow. The snow will gradually taper off to
snow showers late tonight.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
