Special Weather Statement issued February 16 at 3:33PM EST by NWS State College PA
At 332 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Bainbridge to Yoe to Cross Roads to near
Railroad. Movement was east at 50 to 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Strong thunderstorms will be near...
Safe Harbor, East Petersburg, and Manheim around 340 PM EST.
Lititz, Willow Street, and Holtwood around 345 PM EST.
Strasburg, Quarryville, and Leola around 350 PM EST.
Terre Hill, Gap, and Wakefield around 355 PM EST.
Churchtown and Adamstown around 400 PM EST.
Other locations impacted by these storms include Buck, East Prospect,
Bowmansville, Peach Bottom, and Dutch Wonderland.
