Description
Special Weather Statement issued February 16 at 3:00PM EST by NWS State College PA
At 300 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Cashtown to Emmitsburg to near Thurmont to
Walkersville. Movement was east at around 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Strong thunderstorms will be near...
Littlestown, Gettysburg, and Bonneauville around 305 PM EST.
Hampton, Hanover, and Lake Meade around 310 PM EST.
East Berlin and Parkville around 315 PM EST.
York Airport, Dover, and Weigelstown around 320 PM EST.
Railroad, York, and Grantley around 325 PM EST.
Manchester, Red Lion, and Stewartstown around 330 PM EST.
Other locations impacted by these storms include Arendtsville, Seven
Valleys, Abbottstown, Gettysburg National Military Park, and Liberty
Mountain Resort.
