Special Weather Statement issued February 15 at 7:06AM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 706 AM EST, Doppler radar was tracking an area of heavy snow over
Franklin Park, moving northeast at 25 mph.
Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Mount Lebanon, Bethel Park, Ross Township,
McCandless Township, Monroeville, Cranberry, Moon Township,
McMurray, McKeesport, Butler, Franklin Park, East Liverpool,
Aliquippa, Canonsburg, Beaver Falls, Monaca, Vandergrift and East
Palestine.
Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a quarter of a mile in
this heavy snow.
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time when traveling.
