Special Weather Statement issued February 15 at 6:33AM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 633 AM EST, Doppler radar was tracking an area of heavy snow 5
miles south of East Palestine, moving northeast at 25 mph.
Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Mount Lebanon, Bethel Park, Ross Township,
McCandless Township, Monroeville, Cranberry, Moon Township,
McMurray, Greensburg, Weirton, McKeesport, Steubenville,
Washington, Franklin Park, East Liverpool, Jeannette, Aliquippa
and Canonsburg.
Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a quarter of a mile in
this heavy snow.
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Icy roads are possible as the snow melts on the roads then quickly
refreezes.
