Winter Storm Warning issued February 12 at 8:26PM EST until February 13 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Detroit/Pontiac MI
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Storm total snow accumulations between
5 and 8 inches.
* WHERE...The Thumb, Port Huron area and Macomb County
* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Thursday morning commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall rates in excess of 1 inch per hour
are possible, roughly 11PM to 3AM.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. You can obtain the latest road
conditions from the MDOT Michigan Drive Map.
