Special Weather Statement issued February 9 at 7:18AM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA
Snow flurries this morning may mix with or change to freezing
drizzle at times this morning. This may create a light ice coating
on elevated and untreated surfaces especially, but also on roads
and sidewalks in some locations. Freezing drizzle is expected to
end by the late morning hours.
Use caution when walking on untreated surfaces this morning. If
driving, be alert for the possibility of ice patches on the roads.
Reduce speed and increase the distance between your vehicle and
those that surround yours.
