Winter Weather Advisory issued February 8 at 5:09AM EST until February 9 at 1:00AM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations up
to one inch and ice accumulations between a glaze and two tenths
of an inch.
* WHERE...Portions of east central Ohio and northwest, southwest,
and western Pennsylvania.
* WHEN...From 1 PM this afternoon to 1 AM EST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
conditions.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The highest snow amounts will be along the
Interstate 80 corridor.
Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
