Winter Storm Warning issued February 7 at 3:15PM EST until February 9 at 12:00PM EST by NWS Albany NY
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 6 and
10 inches.
* WHERE...Portions of northwestern Connecticut including all of
Litchfield County, western Massachusetts including all of
Berkshire County, and the Schoharie Valley, eastern Catskills,
Helderbergs, mid Hudson Valley, Greater Capital Region, and the
Taconics in eastern New York.
* WHEN...From 7 PM Saturday to noon EST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will increase in intensity Saturday
evening with snowfall rates an inch an hour. The snow will taper
Sunday morning.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
