Snow Squall Warning issued February 7 at 1:25AM EST until February 7 at 2:30AM EST by NWS Buffalo NY

The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a

* Snow Squall Warning for...
Northern Erie County in western New York...
Niagara County in western New York...
Orleans County in western New York...
Northwestern Genesee County in western New York...
Northwestern Monroe County in western New York...

* Until 230 AM EST.

* At 124 AM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line
extending from near Lakeside Beach State Park to 26 miles southwest
of Niagara Falls, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Whiteout conditions with near zero visibility associated
with intense bursts of heavy snow and gusty winds leading
to blowing snow. Wind gusts greater than 50 mph could
knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

SOURCE...Radar and webcams.

IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous
within minutes.

This includes Interstate 90 between exits 48 and 57A, and the entire
length of Interstate 190.

Locations impacted include...
Buffalo, Niagara Falls, North Tonawanda, Clarence, Lockport,
Lackawanna, Batavia, Albion, Medina, Pembroke, and Hamburg.

Consider avoiding or delaying travel until the snow squall passes
your location. If you must travel, use extra caution and allow extra
time. Rapid changes in visibility and slick road conditions may lead
to accidents.
