* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

closed due to elevated runoff and overflowing streams. Urban areas

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- A strong winter low pressure system passing north of the
state is pulling a strong cold front across the eastern half
of the island chain. Heavy rainfall and thunderstorms
developing along and ahead of the front will introduce the
highest potential for flash flooding in Maui and Big Island
through this afternoon.
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
