* Special Marine Warning for...
Alenuihaha Channel...
Big Island Leeward Waters...
Big Island Windward Waters...
Maalaea Bay...
Maui County Leeward Waters...
Maui County Windward Waters...
Pailolo Channel...
* Until 1230 AM HST.
* At 1024 PM HST, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 32 nm northeast of FAD Buoy FF to 28 nm southwest of
FAD Buoy SO, moving east at 10 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
suddenly higher waves.
* Locations impacted include...
FAD Buoy OT, Cape Halawa, Upolu Point, FAD Buoy C, Kawaihae Harbor,
FAD Buoy F, FAD Buoy K, and Kahului Harbor.
Prepare for gusty winds, steep and fast-building seas, and blinding
downpours. Stay low or go below, and make sure all on board are
wearing life jackets.
