High Wind Warning issued January 27 at 7:49PM EST until January 28 at 6:00AM EST by NWS Buffalo NY
* WHAT...Southwest winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.
* WHERE...Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Genesee, Wyoming, and
Chautauqua Counties.
* WHEN...Until 6 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds will blow down trees and power lines. Dead
ash trees will be especially susceptible. Scattered power outages
are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles.
Avoid being outside in forested areas and around trees. Use caution
if driving.
