High Wind Watch issued January 25 at 3:05AM EST until January 28 at 6:00AM EST by NWS Buffalo NY
* WHAT...Southwest winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
possible. The strongest wind gusts are expected across the Niagara
Frontier.
* WHERE...Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Genesee, Wyoming, and
Chautauqua Counties.
* WHEN...From Monday morning through late Monday night.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds may blow down trees and power lines.
Scattered power outages are possible. Travel may be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.
Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates. Secure or
shelter objects in a safe location prior to the onset of the strong
winds.
