Cold Weather Advisory issued January 23 at 1:31PM EST until January 24 at 10:00AM EST by NWS Tampa Bay Ruskin FL

* WHAT...For the Freeze Warning, sub-freezing temperatures as low as
28 expected. For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills
as low as 22 expected. For the Freeze Watch, sub-freezing
temperatures as low as 27 possible.

* WHERE...Coastal Citrus, Coastal Hernando, Coastal Levy, Inland
Citrus, Inland Hernando, Inland Levy, Inland Pasco, and Sumter
Counties.

* WHEN...For the Freeze Warning and Cold Weather Advisory, from 10
PM this evening to 10 AM EST Friday. For the Freeze Watch, from
late Friday night through Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged
exposure. Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.

To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to
drip slowly.
