Sidewalk Snow/ Ice Removal Reminder

Description
This is a reminder that it is the responsibility of the owner or occupant of all buildings in the Borough to remove snow and ice from sidewalks and paths with a width of at least 24 inches in front of or abutting said property within 12 hours after the snow has ceased.
As a suggestion, if the snow has become frozen and too hard to remove the owner or occupant shall apply deicer and sand or another type of abrasive to the sidewalk to make it reasonably safe to travel, and as soon as weather permits, clear a path of at least 24 inches.
