Freeze Warning issued January 22 at 2:33AM EST until January 22 at 10:00AM EST by NWS Tampa Bay Ruskin FL
* WHAT...For the Freeze Warning, sub-freezing temperatures as low as
30. For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low as
19. For the Freeze Watch, sub-freezing temperatures as low as 31
possible.
* WHERE...Coastal Levy and Inland Levy Counties.
* WHEN...For the Freeze Warning and Cold Weather Advisory, until 10
AM EST this morning. For the Freeze Watch, from late tonight
through Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and
unfrozen water.
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to
drip slowly.
