Extreme Cold Warning issued January 21 at 9:03PM CST until January 22 at 9:00AM CST by NWS Houston/Galveston TX
* WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 10 to 15 degrees.
* WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Texas.
* WHEN...Until 9 AM CST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Prolonged exposure to low wind chills can lead to
hypothermia.
Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must
go outside.
To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain them.
Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
