Winter Storm Warning issued January 20 at 4:17AM CST until January 21 at 6:00PM CST by NWS Houston/Galveston TX
* WHAT...Snow is expected. Heavy banding of snow likely in some
areas. Snowfall totals of 3-5 inches expected in locations where
heavy bands of snow occur. Totals of 1-3 inches expected elsewhere.
* WHERE...Portions of southeast Texas.
* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 6 PM CST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Sub-freezing
temperatures to keep road conditions hazardous through midday
Wednesday, especially where heavy bands of snow occur.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Exact location of heavy bands of snow
uncertain. The I-10 corridor to the coast is the region most
likely to experience heavy snow. Accumulations greater than 5
inches cannot be ruled out.
