Cold Weather Advisory issued January 20 at 2:57AM CST until January 22 at 12:00PM CST by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 7 to 10 degrees across the
southern Edwards Plateau and Hill Country, and as low as 10 to 15
degrees across the I-35 Corridor, Coastal Plains, and Rio Grande.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas.

* WHEN...Until noon CST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged
exposure.

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and
unfrozen water.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
