Cold Weather Advisory issued January 19 at 3:51PM EST until January 21 at 6:00AM EST by NWS Mount Holly NJ
* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 5 below expected.
* WHERE...Central and South New Jersey, far southeastern
Pennsylvania, Delaware, and northeastern Maryland.
* WHEN...From 6 PM Monday to 6 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills could result in hypothermia and
frostbite if precautions are not taken.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...This advisory is likely to be extended as
temperatures stay dangerously cold through much of the week.
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
