Winter Weather Advisory issued January 18 at 11:16PM EST until January 19 at 10:00PM EST by NWS State College PA

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 5
inches. Higher totals are possible over the higher elevations of
Somerset County.

* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania.

* WHEN...From 4 AM to 10 PM EST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snow will fall between 1 and 6
PM EST. Brief snowfall rates of 1 inch per hour are possible,
mainly to the south of Altoona, State College and Williamsport.

Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road
conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by
calling 5 1 1.

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
