Be weather aware. A few winter safety tips.
Snow is forecasted to start mid morning on Sunday. Take this time now to ensure you have everything you need in case you are stuck home, lose power, etc. Charge devices, go to the store before the storm hits, and be prepared.
If you have to go out in the snow, have an emergency kit in your car including a blanket, and flashlight.
Remember the Borough has declared a Snow Emergency beginning at 9:00 AM on Sunday, January 19th.
Snow emergency routes are listed below. If you live on one of these streets parking is prohibited during the emergency.
For residents on non snow emergency route Public Works is asking all residents to park your vehicles in driveways. Having streets clear of vehicles makes it easier for our drivers to plow curb to curb.
