All too often, decisions about transit get made without low-income, disabled, youth, and Black and Brown riders at the table. We urge you to share this information with your network, clients, and constituents and join Pittsburghers for Public Transit on January 31, 2025 at 8:30-9:15am for a rally outside of and directly address the PRT at their Board meeting beginning at 9:30am to request an extension to give the public time to learn about and comment on the proposals!
Transit defines where we can live - whether or not we have access to economic opportunity, healthcare, nutrition, social services, community connection, and so much more. This is the biggest change to our system in decades, and we are unlikely to get another.
