Winter Weather Advisory issued January 15 at 2:00PM EST until January 17 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Cleveland OH
* WHAT...For the Lake Effect Snow Warning, heavy lake effect snow.
Additional snow accumulations up to two inches. For the Winter
Weather Advisory, snow expected. Total snow accumulations between
3 and 5 inches.
* WHERE...Northern Erie and Southern Erie Counties.
* WHEN...For the Lake Effect Snow Warning, until 1 AM EST Thursday.
For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 4 AM Thursday to 7 AM EST
Friday.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. The hazardous conditions could
impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Widespread snow will arrive Thursday morning
and persist through Thursday evening. Snowfall rates may reach 1
inch per hour Thursday evening.
Slow down and use caution while traveling.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania
Turnpike Commission strongly encourage motorists to heed all travel
