Lake Effect Snow Warning issued January 15 at 2:59AM EST until January 16 at 1:00AM EST by NWS Cleveland OH
* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations
between 2 and 5 inches.
* WHERE...Northern Erie and Southern Erie Counties.
* WHEN...Until 1 AM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions with slower travel
likely. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday
morning and evening commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snowfall amounts are expected
over the northeastern part of Erie County. Snowfall rates of up to
1" per hour will be possible at times. Winds gusting as high as 35
mph near the lakeshore.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
