Special Weather Statement issued January 14 at 8:30PM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 830 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking heavier snow showers along
a line from near Lawson Heights to near Valley Grove, or along a
line from near Latrobe to near Valley Grove, moving southeast at 30
mph.
Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Mount Lebanon, Bethel Park, Wheeling, Monroeville,
McMurray, Greensburg, McKeesport, Washington, Uniontown,
Jeannette, Canonsburg, Latrobe, Connellsville, Waynesburg,
Warwood, Bethlehem, West Liberty, Triadelphia and Avella.
Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time when traveling.
