Description
Manchester Township is currently searching for a Sewer Crew team member.
This position works with the Sewer Crew Lead to ensure that the township sanitary sewer lines and pump stations are well maintained, and in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. The Sewer Crew team member may also assist with public works projects as needed.
Successful applicants must meet all the requirements of the position description including a high school education, or equivalent; possession of a current Pennsylvania Driver’s License; basic mechanical and electrical aptitude; and the ability to lift and move objects up to 40 – 50 pounds. The Sewer Crew team member will also need to obtain the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Wastewater Certificate with the guidance of the Sewer Crew Leader. This position will require obtaining a CDL during employment with the township.
This position will require working outside regular business hours including weekends as well as other weather and system emergencies.
